Building the Bird cages

It's best to build or buy as big as your budget can allow. My community cage was built in a matter of 4 days under $80 canadian. That covered wire, wire cutters, and the plastic plumber ties that made the cage building go a lot faster. This is where I'll show you how to make a simple breeding cage that won't bust your budge too much.

This is the nest box 'sewer trap' as I call it. Because my cage is set up awkwardly, I had to create one so the birds could crawl into the nest box. The birds seem to like it, as it gives them a greater sense of security.
